pirate radio

Wow, I know its been ages, but I just haven’t been able to get into the blogging groove lately, I have actually tried, honestly!

There have been a few great adventures over the past month or so, but my favorite was definitely last weekend when Amanda and I climbed Mount Paul! You know, (or you should know at least,) the mountain in Kamloops with the peace sign spray painted on it! Well, on Monday Amanda and I decided to at last tackle this particular aspiration, and climb it! (this has been the plan since we met, practically.) It was super challenging, one leg of journey was seriously like a 70 degree angle, it was ridiculous! But so frigging amazing once we got to the very top! I can’t really even properly describe the feeling, its something you have to experience for yourself almost.  Once we were at the very peak, we could seriously see from like barnhartvale to westsyde, and even out towards Savona!  There were these huge cliffs that you could almost dangle your feet off of, and we were looking down by about 300 feet at the peace sign! Seriously, I used to think the people who did that were so crazy, but man, they are actually kind of sad, they only made it a quarter of the way up the mountain! But don’t get me wrong, it’s still flippin cool.

Before this, last weekend we also decided to make our own adventures, and decided to be greasy, and drink…. At the park! Hahahahah. It was great! And not like Williams lake at all! Such good times, we sang Shania Twain at the top of our lungs while walking around downtown, picked toooons of flowers from gardens and city fixtures, and then Amanda got carried away and somehow ended up whipping me in the eye with a thorny rose! Ack! I’m lucky I’m not half blinded! Manda ended up picking up dudes off of the street to hang out with for a while, so that worked out well, but jeez!  *shakes head* craziness.

Last night, Kyle and I seriously watched one of my new favorite movies, it’s called Pirate Radio, and I highly recommend you watch it, it is soo amazing! I just grinned the entire way through! You will probably have to download it though, because it was made in the UK, but it is well worth it, everyone should watch this movie!! And obviously, it had great music for the era! I can’t wait to download the whole soundtrack! Here’s a taste:
