so last night, kallie and i went to see Despicable Me in theatres, (BEST MOVIE EVER) and we had a great time catching up! anyhoo, the whole time, i was thinking about how i would definitely NOT forget my phone face down in the cup holder, but low and behold, i get home, dump my purse, search my car and nearly have a heart attack: its not there. mason phones the theatre, and gets gord to search all of the seats, and it still isnt there! i decide we should drive down there to search the parking lot, because i thought maybe i set it down on the back of my car when i was grabbing my keys: its not there either. so i demand libby ad mason scan the road the whole way home, just in case by some chance it fell off the back of my car while i was going to fast around a corner. i drove like 20kms per hour the whoooleee way homee :( AND THEN I SPOTTED IT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET, AHHHHHH! We found it!! in the middle of the road! ilovemyphone ilovemyphone ilovemyphone ilovemyphone ilovemyphone ilovemyphone!! :D

soo anyhoo, yesterday we had a lovely nice family reunion out at our relatives from hong kong's summer cabin too! (no they arent asian..) i had such a great time kayaking and swimming and water-trampolining! it was a good time with all my frenchie relatives, thats for sureee. actually, i had such a great time kayaking that i gave myself a wicked bad dime sized blister on my thumb from racing oakes :( ow.

and nowwww....i'm in alberta for the first time ever! WOOHOO! its pretty great, doesnt feel much like alberta yet though, because we are only in jasper, but wow this town is beautiful! the mountains are amaaazing! it reminds me of whistler a little bit actually. tuesday heading to edmonton, and WOW am i excited to spend stupid amounts of money on material things while in the mall! i think we're doing roller coasters/water slides too :) the street signs are strange green and ywellow colours, also, instead of good old green and white, anddd some of the street lights are sideways! how strange! wow i feel uncultured.

life's like an hourglass glued to the table

have i mentioned how cute the kittens are before? have i? this morning i woke up and one had its little nose almost touching my nose, and all of the rest of them were gathered around my head! soooo amazing! they're all still a little bit afraid of me, (sad..), so this was very good news! so besides not being able to breathe with all this surrounding kitten fluff, this has been a lovely morning.
