I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living.

get caught in the race, of this crazy life
Long time no blog! I think it's been over a month, I am so disappointed in myself! Not to worry though, I’ll be back on track again shortly I believe. Quite a fair bit has happened, but whether or not I will be able to remember it or not is the real issue! Of the most importance, I got a “promotion” of sorts! September the 28th is my start date for becoming a Junior Office Roadie in the Valleyview office! I’ll be spending four days a week in the office, but every Friday or exceptionally busy day, I will be out on the road, driving from dealership to dealership, doing insurance in dealerships on my little laptop! It will be really nice to not be in the office 24/7, and I also make quite a decent amount of commission and get paid mileage! I’m super excited but also a bit nervous top start in a new office – mine is just so great here! But anyways, once a position becomes available (probably not for a couple of months at leasttttt) I’ll be upgrades to a full time roadrunner, then eventually, after that, maybe a senior roadrunner! Senior roadrunners work 4 ten hour days a week – gosh that would be amaaaazing!
Anyways, on a less professional note, last night Amanda, Angie, Braeden and I had THE most fantastic idea! We drove out to Chase, and tromped around creepily in the dark until we found a huuuuge corn field! Then we parked our car down the road, and we grabbed our bags and our bins, and we struggled through and over barbed wire fences until, SUCCESS! Manda and I were so excited we probably almost woke up the farmers with our grade nine-esque squealing. It was an amazing success – I had so much corn bundled into my arms and overflowing out of bags I could hardly walk! Getting over the fences on the way back was totally another story though. At one point I actually got stuck with one leg half over a barbed wire fence, while Amanda was trying to hold it down with her foot from the other side, and I ended up toppling backwards over it into a spiky field and my entire huge bags of corn fell all over me, because I was so terrified that one of the spikes was going to get me! Have I ever mentioned I have like... a huge fear of barbed wire? Well I do. Not to mention we were so pumped on adrenaline that hysterical laughter was about all I could manage in the way of communication.
I’ve also been watching quite a bunch of movies lately – Kyle and I watched Patch Adams, with Robin Williams on Tuesday, and I always thought I’d hate Robin Williams, but I’ve seriously been converted. I guess only having ever seen him before in Jumanji, Casper, and Flubber, I wasn’t exactly getting the greatest impression apparently. The Kingdom was another REALLY good one, but it was heart wrenchingly sad. Last weekend when Mason was visiting, he forced me to see Step Up 3 with him, and a more plot less film would be hard to find. Not to mention the acting. Oh horrendous acting. But really, all aside, it was actually pretty good, the dancing amazing obviously, and it was very “feel good”.
anyhooo, its late, and i am sleepy x 928375
tah for now.
Couldn't wait to get goin'
But wasn't quite ready to leave
There's a wild, wild whisper
Blowin' in the wind
Callin' out my name like a long lost friend
Oh I miss those days as the years go by
Oh nothing's sweeter than summertime
Get caught in the race
Of this crazy life
Tryin' to be everything can make you lose your mind
I just wanna go back in time
